The Barmouth to Fort William PowerBar Three Peaks Yacht Race combines yachting, mountain running and cycling into one of the greatest adventure challenges in British sport. Teams consist of three sailors and two runners, who set sail from Barmouth on the Welsh coast to Fort William in Scotland, via Caernarfon and Whitehaven, racing to the summits of Snowdon (3560ft) Scafell Pike (3208ft) and Ben Nevis (4408ft) on the way.

An upstream canoeing event, taking advantage of the flood tide to start in the Deganwy Narrows, and finish at Dolgarrog Bridge approximately 15km away. The river offers many challenges in reading water and weather conditions and is rich in wildlife and beautiful scenery.

The annual celebration of everything fishy will be packed with over 150 events for families, foodies, beach-lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, anglers and cultural devoties alike.

An event open to Scouts and Leaders. The purpose of the event is to encourage expeditioning by canoe or kayak and provides approximately 35 miles of canoeing between Hoarwithy near Hereford and Monmouth over 3 days.

Welsh Boat Show 2008 – Now even Bigger and Better.

Come along and try dinghy sailing and find out about Cardiff Yacht Club. All welcome - members, non-members, family and friends, young and not so (children need to be accompanied). No experience necessary. Expect to get your feet wet, so appropriate footwear, a towel and a change of clothing (just in case). BBQ. 12 noon - 4pm

A packed programme with nautical themed family entertainment - everything from water-based activities, children's workshops and a great musical line up.

Sea Kayaking Festival - fun event for like minded paddlers, with coaching sessions, Demo boats by P&H and others.

This annual event is aimed at anyone interested in sea kayaking and for all levels of ability.

Competitors have to complete two lengths of a 60 yard trench cut through the peat bog in the quickest time possible, wearing snorkels and flippers (wet suits optional).

The Cardigan Bay Regatta, at New Quay, is a three day annual event which combines sailing races with shore based swimming races and fun events.
