Wales Watersports @ the Outdoors Ordnance Survey Show, NEC – Birmingham, 16 – 18 March 2007

Wales Watersports will be taking a stand at the Outdoors Ordnance Survey Show at the NEC, Birmingham on the 16^th – 18^th March 2007. We are currently in discussions with the show organisers with regards to stand location and size, but we can confirm that it will be located in the watersports section.

The show continues to grow in importance, attracting over 50,000 visitors over the 3 days of the event, the majority of which are from the North West, Midlands, and South West of England – core markets for watersports in Wales.

In order for us to determine the ideal stand size we would like to gauge the likely interest of the watersports sector in Wales to supporting the stand. Opportunities will be available for:

•  Stand space comprising of a graphic display panel, dedicated brochure racking and desk area. Cost: c. £600 plus vat
• Graphic display panel with dedicated brochure racking. Cost c. £400 plus vat
• Brochure Racking of up to 150 leaflets. Cost c. £80 plus vat
• In addition there is a great deal of emphasis placed on ‘education’ at the show, and visitors are keen to learn new techniques and information relating to their activity discipline. In order to tap into this growing market, Wales Watersports would like to include a demonstration zone within the stand area from which at various times throughout the day there would be demonstrations undertaken by the watersports sector in Wales - demonstrations could be as simple as ‘how to wax a surfboard’. A watersports business willing to give a demonstration on stand would receive free brochure racking on stand.
