Activity Search : Power Boating
Wales is a power boater's paradise. There is excellent access to the water from slipways, harbours and marinas dotted all along the coast.
You can sail in sheltered bays and estuaries, explore islands, peninsulas and the open sea and get close to wildlife and remote beaches.
Although power boating is one of the easiest ways onto the water, beginners should always get the basic skills on an introductory course. You'll not just learn the basics of seamanship - an understanding of the tides, weather and son on - but also the 'rules' of the road. For the more experienced, there are progression and 'top-up' courses, run to the highest standards.
All power boat users are asked to show consideration to other water users.
