Based by the sea in Abersoch, North Wales, OFFAXIS is a wakeboarding and surfing centre run by professional wakeboard and surf coaches. Group wakeboarding lessons and private wakeboard tuition is provided for beginners and experts alike. Similarly, you can learn to surf in a group or have a private surf lesson all to yourself or with your friends.

Our coaching sessions deliver personalised tuition in a relaxed and unobtrusive learning environment. If our reputation doesn't speak for itself then our credentials certainly do.

Wakeboarding:

Wakeboarding is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It is particularly popular with youngsters as the skills transfer easily from other board sports such as skateboarding or snowboarding, and the basics can be learnt quickly.

As a beginner you shouldn’t feel intimidated by other, more experienced boarders on the water. We all started in the same situation. At OFFAXIS our professional riders will help you find your legs and feel at ease on the water - gradually building your confidence to tackle harder disciplines.

Our aim is to have you up and riding the wake for a short distance in your very first lesson. You can join in with a group set if you are by yourself, or book a private set if you are many. Either way, you’ll find the atmosphere relaxed and non-intimidating, and our instructors encouraging and inspiring. Please beware: wakeboarding is highly addictive and will change your life…

Surfing:

OFFAXIS provide personal coaching for all levels and abilities. We offer private tuition in small groups (3-4 people) to enable lessons to be tailored to individual needs so as to ensure quick and effective learning. Our experience and knowledge of the local area and weather conditions will make sure you are taught in the most suitable location for your standard.

Put on a wetsuit, head down the beach, grab a board, and then the fun begins. Our instructors have been surfing the breaks on these beaches for years and have the know how and encouragement to help you get the most out of your lesson. Our objective is to educate you about beach safety and have you riding a wave with confidence and security. Equipped with the most up to date range of Soft and Soft Top Boards, your learning, progression and enjoyment will be maximised.

Water-skiing:

Whether you are a complete novice or a seasoned mono-skier, OFFAXIS will do their up most to ensure you get the best out of your time on the water.

Beginners will find themselves standing up on 2 skis enjoying a circuit of the bay in no time and for those who’ve tried water-skiing but want to progress, then we can help you perfect a deep water start on that new mono ski.

Whilst our WAKESETTER VLX is essentially a wakeboard boat, the wake does flatten at skiing speed. Crossing this wake is something else, but it can be done!
