Cruising in the waters off the Lleyn Peninsula, which combine moderate tidal and sea conditions with a varied pattern of winds, offers the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonian mountains as a backdrop. The rugged coastline has also been designated an 'Area of Outstanding National Beauty'.

In 1997 Hafan Pwllheli was awarded the prestigious Five Gold Anchors Award by The Yacht Harbours Association (TYHA). The award is given to marinas which are judged to provide excellent facilities and run to the highest standards.

We were among the first six marinas in the UK to be awarded a European Blue Flag in recognition of Hafan Pwllheli's high standards of safety and water cleanliness.
