Enjoy a family holiday with a difference and explore the delights of North Wales by canoe and raft! Your two day adventure commences on the calm waters of the River Dee or the tranquil waters of a nearby canal. Here everyone will get the opportunity to learn and practice paddling strokes under the guidance of a fully qualified instructor. Once everyone’s feeling as happy as ducks in water you’ll then set off on a journey along the river, picnicking along the way. The grand finale of the trip will be the opportunity for the whole family to splash about on the rapids – suitably challenging yet safe and fun! The second day you will put your new found skills to the test with a white water rafting adventure! Your accommodation is a four star country house hotel that offers good accommodation and is ideally located for the activities. From the hotel it is only a short walk along the banks of the River Dee to the town of Llangollen, which offers craft shops, pubs, eateries and a steam railway that takes you on a tour of some wonderful scenery.
