Mumbles Navy Days (Date to be Confirmed) - 22 May 2010
To be held at Southend Gardens, The Promenade, Knab Rock, Mumbles, Swansea
On Saturday, Sunday and Monday there will be static displays and demonstrations.
An area will be set aside for old and new sailors of the Royal and Merchant Navies and all those interested in ships and the sea to meet and ‘swing the lamp’, fortified by a tot of Pussers Rum.
Throughout the weekend, tides permitting, there will be sailing, rowing, jet skiing, sea life saving and resuscitation demonstrations, sea life saving by the magnificent Newfoundland Dogs of Newfound Friends, trips around the bay and demonstrations by All Weather and Inshore Lifeboats of the RNLI and much, much more.
